“I’ve just given up” announces young man after two tough hours at his first corporate job. “The rat race ain’t for me so I’m giving up on climbing the corporate ladder, having a family and even having a place to sleep at night. I might sleep in the park or I might sleep under your car. You never know where I’ll end up!”
Young man points and waves arms around violently.
“Maybe you’ll see me in your dreams or maybe on America’s Most Wanted. I’m a free bird and will NOT be chained down by these oppressive chains and beliefs you have forced on me and mindlessly accepted yourself! You don’t know me and you don’t even know you! Maybe I’m the next Martin Luther King. Maybe I’m the next Jeffrey Dahmer.”
Young man puts hand to chin and starts to nod “yes”.
“I don’t know but what I do know is I could sure use a shower! I know you can smell me from down the street! I know you avoid me every time you see me on the block Felecia! We were supposed to grow old together. When you asked if I needed to be taken to a hospital, I knew right then that we was meant to be together. But you kept on walking with your fancy shoes and your fancy husband. You’ll be back! They always come back on Monday. They claim it’s because they’re headed to work but I know better! They can’t get enough of your boy Cheezits!”
